RED BUM DAY

Pain isn’t supposed to be funny, but secretly, it is, isn’t it? Especially when it’s someone you know who’s getting the football in the groin.

For Red Nose Day, the creative folk of Dare gave you all something else to laugh at.  Our bodies, all shapes and sizes, became targets for you to shoot at. With a paintball gun!  What we didn’t realise is that a paintball gun fires paintballs at a skin slapping 220mph. OOOOOOUCH!

Heroically, that didn’t faze us.

Our pain will be Comic Relief’s gain.

Lonely Bikes Club

A series of short films that gives a voice to all those abandoned bikes, that we as humans ignore like the plague.

The homeless have charities, but what do these lonely bikes have?

They have the Lonely Bikes Club.

My intention is to raise the profile of these homeless bikes through powerful, provocative dialogue that strikes a chord with people like you and me.  By sharing their location, I’m hoping someone will one day head down and take them home for some tender loving care, giving them a new life as a bike.

Unfortunately, this project is no longer in existence, due to the filthy vermin who mugged me at knifepoint, taking my bag, my laptop, hard drive and projects – this included.

The only thing that survived was the logo, which was created by the talented Luke Stenzhorn.

This project isn’t dead.  It will rise again, better than before.

We say farewell to the #fookinglegend @fooksstuff

I met @fookstuff 4 years ago in the reception of dare.  He was wearing a t-shirt with a couple of mallards on it (to which he still denies).  He still wears that t-shirt.  Anyway, he’s played a huge part of of making dare who they are – atmospherically.  And I could go as far to say that he’s had a part to play in my life too – I can now down 15 pints withut puking.

So, we at dare went that little extra and created our first digital leaving card that scraped in all the dirt @fooksstuff tried to keep away from us.
